Another great find from my Great Grandmother’s collection of baubles. Should I leave it as a brooch or turn it in to a ring?
I had so much fun working on last week’s “Escape” to France that I thought I’d keep it going. Come away with me, let’s jet over to Puglia, Italy.
I have been thinking about how much I like the color mint. It’s so sophisticated and girly at the same time. Here are a few minty finds for your viewing enjoyment.

Maybe more fun and quirky than sophisticated in this case…

Last night I attended a showcase at the Elle Communications offices in LA with my two best friends. It was a lovely event co-hosted by Fashion Intel, Refinery29, Glitter ‘N Glue and Style Section LA. Attendees got the chance to see Elle Comm’s client’s latest collections such as Leoluca Handbags, Made for Good, Raven + Lily, Future:Standard, Jedidiah, MusiCares, UNITED Artist Network, GIVEN and more. How could I pass up jewelry and accessories? Of course there were drinks and cupcakes but the extra fun part was a DIY necklace station, a braid bar and nail lounge. Thought I’d share some photos from last night. Enjoy!
DIY Necklace Station. Yes, those are black, silver and gold bobby pins. Such a great idea! If you are already a follower of Glitter ‘N Glue, you may recognize her amazing neon studded clutch. Here is a tutorial on how to make it yourself:
