I’ve always been inspired by old hollywood. From the sexy smirk, clothes (or lack of), the jewels, makeup and hair; these ladies are all nothing short of gorgeous in my eyes. Each leading lady is paired with an equally lovely necklace from some of my favorite designers.
Elizabeth Taylor | Turquoise Amsu Necklace by Robyn Rhodes for JewelMint Collective
Lucille Ball | Braided Mint Strands from BaubleBar
Audrey Hepburn | Art Deco Piled Stone Necklace by JCrew
Brigitte Bardot | Fawn Necklace in Cactus by Kendra Scott
Grace Kelly | Labradorite Stone Pendant Necklace by Whitney Stern
Marilyn Monroe | Crystal Fan Necklace in Soft Pink by JCrew

I’m in love with BHLDN, pronounced “Beholden” andinspired by the Dutch word for “to keep”. The name makes perfect sense, the shop is dedicated to providing the most beautiful things any bride could dream up. If something looks strangely familiar, you’re not mistaken. BHLDN is another masterpiece from the creative minds of Anthropologie. I got a sneak peak at the Spring 2013 collection consisting of sparkling clutches, gorgeous gowns, stunning jewelry, beautiful home accessories and much more. Here are just a few of my favorites from the collection.
Crystal grey clutch | St. Eramus
Strappy Metalic Rosegold Heels | Andrew Kayla

The word Bobo is a portmanteau of “Bourgeois-bohème,”. The Bobo House founder and designer is Eloise Lapidus who has fashion and creativity in her blood. She’s the daughter of the talented French designer, Ted Lapidus. Although she was born in Paris, she currently lives in Los Angels and fuses the two lifestyles of Paris and LA. The line exudes an easy elegance that works for downtown or the beach, all while being eco-conscious and manufactured in Los Angeles. Take a look at the lovely collection for Spring 2013 featuring ultra-soft basics with a stylish French twist.
Bobo House is availabe at Satine, Traffic LA, Jill Roberts, Chaussure and more. To see the full Spring/Summer 2013 collection, click here.
I find that my favorite part about home decor and fashion comes is in the details. You can dress up a space or an outfit and make it feel fresh and new with just that little extra something. Aren’t the details what you remember the most?
